Thanks for the help!! Weather: The morning's weather was the best we would have all day. The day began with Northerly winds about 6mph, temperature of 6.2 degrees C, and 100% overcast. Throughout the day temperatures dropped, winds increased, and the precipitation began...rain first, finally turning to snow. Final hours temperature was down to 3.0 degrees C, with winds gusting above 12 mph, but steady in the 8 - 12 mph range. No sign of the sun at all today. Raptor Observations: A slow day in the beginning and the end hours. Mainly Red Tailed Hawks moving thru, with a few Red Shouldered mixed in. We had 3 Adult migrating Bald Eagles today, and an early Peregrine Falcon over the marsh who tangled briefly with a Northern Harrier. Non-raptor Observations: Very few Passerines of any type on the move today...too cold, wet and windy for the smaller guys in general. We did have several groups of Tundra Swans move through. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Cindy Isenhoff ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Holiday Beach Migration Observatory information may be found at: http://hbmo.org/
