Once again there appeared to be this dark island in the distance on the
Lake. With the help of binoculars I sighted: 100's of 1,000's RED BREASTED
MERGANSERS, RED HEADS, CANVAS BACKS, BUFFLEHEAD, SCOTERS & RED THROATED
LOONS.

Many PINE SISKINS, DARK EYED JUNCOS, WHITE THROATED SPARROWS, WHITE BREASTED
NUTHATCH, NORTHERN CARDINALS, BLUE JAYS & ROBINS.

Directions: Take Liberty exit off 401 down to West Beach Road and follow to
the lake. (A note of caution when parking in the parking lot of CLOCA
around the first corner along the way: Do not leave anything in your car if
you decide to park there and leave your vehicle unattended. We went biking
with the Mayor 2 weeks ago and when we came back our vehicles were broken
into. Missing: telescopes, binoculars, bike rack & wallet. It is best to
leave your vehicle unlocked than at least they won't smash the window as
they did to us.)

The PINE SISKINS, DARK EYED JUNCOS, WHITE THROATED SPARROWS, WHITE BREASTED
NUTHATCH, NORTHERN CARDINALS can be seen in my yard of 590 Mill St. S.
Newcastle off exit 440. The ROBINS I sighted biking to Port HOpe and back,
close to Little Britain.
