While checking Stratford's Lake Victoria for White-fronted goose hybrids on
Tuesday afternoon, I saw a Lesser Black-backed Gull in with a group of
Ring-billed Gulls. The bird was the British/Icelandic race, showing a
slaty-grey back. The group of gulls were just offshore almost right in front
of the Tom Patterson Theatre.
