At 9am this morning had a male Barrow's Goldeneye on the Rideau River just
north of the Rideau Tennis Club.  It was with a flock of 20+ Common
Goldeneye.

Also present were several Hooded Merganser and one Surf Scoter

Directions
Take HWY 417 to Vanier Parway exit
Head North on Vanier Parkway
Turn left on Donald Street, go to the end of Donald Street and enter the
Rideau Tennis Club to park near the River.
Walk downstream (north) along the River for approx 0.5 km
The bird was approx. half way between the Tennis Club and the Cummings
Bridge.
