Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 14:00:00
Total observation time: 7 hours

Official Counter: Claude Radley

Observers: Don Wiens, Jim McCoy

Weather:
The day was mostly cloudy, with some sunny breaks for a couple of hours in
the late morning. Winds were mild to moderate from the W and WNW.
Temperatures ranged from a low of 1.7 to a high of 4.9. There was no
precipitation.

Raptor Observations:
Raptor migration was almost non-existent until the sun broke through around
10 am, whereupon the buteos almost immediately began coming through in good
numbers. By noon the sun disappeared again, and so did the hawks.
Highlights of the day were the two Roughlegged Hawks (one dark, one light)
and the adult Golden Eagle.

Non-raptor Observations:
Passerine migration was quite steady with many flocks of mixed blackbird
species, a fair passage of Crows, and numerous Goldfinches. About a dozen
Rusty Blackbirds briefly perched in a tree right next to the tower. The
Red-bellied Woodpecker was seen once again.

Predictions:
Low of 1, high of 7. Winds mild to moderate out of the south. Cloudy with
a chance of light showers.
