Winds were light to moderate out of the west. Raptor Observations: Today saw a substantial if modest improvement in the flight after a couple of days with a light passage of birds. Much of the movement was during the brighter portions of the day but with a steady trickle recorded even under the cloudy skies of the afternoon. Highlights included a dark morph Rough-leg and a partially albino Red-tail. Non-raptor Observations: Half a dozen or so Tree Swallows were seen today. There is a reasonable chance of seeing Cave Swallows in the coming days, particularly as there have been recent sightings within the region. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
