This was their first trip here. Weather: Windy 8-12 mph from South turning westward. Temp 23 C. Pressure 29.9 in HG. Cloud cover mostly 100% with brief period of sunny opening overhead and eastward near end of time (11 AM). There was a bit of 'spit' rain 9.30 - 11 AM. Major rain cell passed eat and north of tower. Raptor Observations: Very little Nothing until 11-12 when a kestrel passed and an imm bald eagle and two turkey vultures. All were considered Resident of loval birds Kestral was the only counted bird for the day. Non-raptor Observations: GBH, great egret 1, Canada goose mallard, killdeer, ring-billed gull, mourning dove, swift, humbird, flicker, tree swallow (100+), barn swallow, blue jay, catbird, grackle, and goldfinch. Predictions: Should have sunny day with north component wind.
