Weather:
Skies were again blue and cloudless with light to moderate winds varying
from west-southwest to southwest.

Raptor Observations:
The flight today began with a steady movement of Sharpies which lasted
throughout the morning but petered out in the afternoon. Some very distant
kettles of Broad-wings were seen well to the north of the count area during
the late morning but these groups quickly moved out of even scope view.
Presumably there was some decent migration to the north that went
undetected. Ospreys seemed to be particularly evident today with multiple
birds often in view during the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Large numbers of Tree Swallows have been migrating the last couple of days
along with lesser numbers of Barn and a few Cliff Swallows. A modest number
of warblers were seen around the park today including Yellow-rumped which
have been present in small numbers for a few days now. This seems a bit
early for this species arriving in this area of the state but certainly not
unprecedented.
