Weather:
Today continued the southerly flow of the last several days as this high
pressure system continues to dominate our weather. Skies were generally
clear with early morning fog and haze slowly burning off during the
morning. Winds were for the most part absent until mid morning becoming
light southeast at that time, increasing a bit in the afternoon before
dropping off again later in the PM.

Raptor Observations:
The breakdown of today’s flight was very much similar to the previous day
but with less Sharpies and a few more vultures. The flight began more
slowly than yesterday possibly due to the foggy conditions but remained
steadier to the end of the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Very few non-raptor migrants were seen other than Blue Jays and Chimney
Swifts, the latter seeming to be doing more foraging than migrating. A
single Rusty Blackbird was noted flying along with one of the jay groups.
