Today at the bridge, 1 clear view of an adult snow goose mixed in with large
flock of Canada Geese resting on the mud flats. Further south on 31st line, at
a break in the trees where there is a view of the deeper water, was able to
observe 6 geese at a distance.

>From this group, I believe at least 1 is a Snow Goose, and the remaining 5 are
>Ross's Geese. Of the suspected Ross's Geese, 3 appear to be juvenile with a
>slight greyish cap and eyeline.

Yesterday 5pm (Saturday September 28) also observed 6 snow geese flying by (at
the bridge), and a lone snow goose in the field just west of Wildwood along
road 96. I'll post some images online tonight.

Directions (from previous Ontbirds post credited to Don Campbell)- Take CR 6,
north from the 401,(Exit 222) through Embro, to CR 28. Go west through
Harrington, turn north on the31st line and continue north to the bridge.
