Two birds on the breakwall and associated rocks bordering the harbor. They were present Sep. 27 when seen at a distance with bins only and again today (Sep 29), much closer and with a 'scope for confirmation. One was a full adult or close to it and the other a 3rd year bird, though still with pinkish to light straw-colored legs. They were mixed in with a few thousand Herring gulls and fewer Ring-bills.
Pt Stanley is south of London and St Thomas on Lake Erie, at the southern terminus of former Hwy 4 (now I suppose a regional road of some sort). The harbor will be obvious to anyone.
