Weather: Mainly cloudy with breif light rain showers. Brisk WNW-NNW winds made it decidedly cool on the tower. Raptor Observations: The flight was dominated by Sharp-shinned. Seven Bald Eagles during one hour overflew the 8 that have been hanging around the marsh this week. Seldom were fewer than three eagles in view. Non-raptor Observations: A few thousand Blue Jays about 300 Goldfinches and 350 Tree Swallows were the major passerine migrants. Few warblers were in the park today. Predictions: Similar to today with the winds a little more Westerly and a little milder. Should be good. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Claude Radley ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Holiday Beach Migration Observatory information may be found at: http://hbmo.org/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
