Weather:
Today saw mostly clear skies early in the day but the day overall was
dominated by extended periods of overcast. Winds were moderate to fairly
strong from the west.



Raptor Observations:
Migration overall was quite modest with the breakdown similar to yesterday
but with less numbers overall.

Non-raptor Observations:
A large movement of Tree Swallows was seen at sun-up with perhaps 8-10
thousand birds moving low along the lakeshore. Other new arrivals to the
area included Orange-crowned Warbler, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker,
Red-breasted Nuthatch, Wilson's Snipe and Red-headed Woodpecker.
