With medium-strong NW winds and a steady Barometric pressure a "good" hawk
flight was possible. Indeed, by 1000EST the Turkey Vultures were coming through
en masse, some off Thickson Pt., others from inland to the east.
The passerine highlight was a RUSTY BLACKBIRD, perched on a tree just north of
the platform.
