Good morning everyone,
After checking out Reesor's Pond for the Ross's Goose and Blue morph
Snow Goose at around 5:45pm yesterday ( They were not there) I headed
home up Reesor Rd. through Stouffville. Just north of Stouffville on the
Durham/York
Line Rd.(30) but just south of the train tracks and water tower there
was a field on the
east side recently harvested that had several hundred Canada Geese and
the single
Ross's Goose fervishly eating grain. This was around 6:15pm. The
lighting was excellent
as the large full moon was rising in the eastern sky and the sun was
setting in the western sky.
Good birding,
Sigi Bodach
