Weather:
Today was another sunny day as this high pressure and southerly flow
continued for another day. Winds were non-existent until mid morning after
which breezes were light to moderate from the southeast.

Raptor Observations:
The flight overall was quite stagnant with Sharpies being the only
consistent flier during the day and coupled with one decent group of TVs
that came through in the early afternoon, made up most of the movement for
the day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Tree Swallows were probably the most numerous non-raptor migrant today
although there was still good-sized Blue Jay flocks on the go as well. In
addition, large groups of migrating Starlings and blackbirds were noted. A
singing Blue-headed Vireo added an extra voice to the usual background bird
sound of Cardinals and Carolina Wrens. A six-point buck White-tail swam
across the channel just south of the count area during the early part of
the day.
