Winds were light from the west early in the day becoming initially south and then moderate from the southeast. Raptor Observations: Not altogether slow by most accounts, the day however was much less productive in terms of migration than the last several, not surprising given the conditions. Much of the TV movement was well to the north but at least folks got to see some of the Buteos that came overhead with some excellent views provided by both Red-tails and Red-shoulders. Unfortunately the four Golden Eagles seen were also well to the north.
