This system is forecast to bring rain in the overnight and much colder temperatures after the passage of a cold front. Winds were moderate to fairly strong varying from west-southwest to southwest. Raptor Observations: Migration was very stagnant with even the vulture flight but a trickle compared to the movement over the last week. Non-raptor Observations: Kinglets of both species continue to be some of the most numerous birds in the area along with large numbers of Robins, White-throated Sparrows and goodly numbers of Hermit Thrushes and Rusty Blackbirds. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
