Hello everyone

I don't have complete results but I thought you might be interested in a few
preliminary results from the St. Catharines CBC held today.

Approximately 37 observers recorded 79 species so far.

New for the count: Thayer's Gull, Turkey Vulture, White-winged Crossbill

Record high counts: Red-breasted Mergansers; Double-crested Cormorants; Wild
Turkeys; American Robins and Cedar Waxwings

Some other interesting observations
* highest count of Pine Siskins in 17 years
* 2nd record of Pomarine Jaeger
* Snowy Owls (2) and Lapland Longspurs recorded for the first time in last 5
years
* low counts so far for Bonaparte's Gulls, Ring-billed Gulls, American Kestrel,
Northern Mockingbird and Northern Cardinal
