A kingfisher was present at the Canal today. There has also been a "Blonde"
Mallard among the many ducks there.
(Photo<http://ontfin.com/Word/a-blonde-mallard>).
It is a cream-colored female, and I think it is a leucistic bird rather than
a hybrid.

As well as Mute and Trumpeter Swans, Canada Geese, there was Mallards and
Black Duck and a few hybrid MallardXBlack, as well as an American Coot and a
male Hooded Merganser.

Directions
>From Cootes Dr. in Dundas, go north on Olympic Drive and the canal is on
your left along King St. E.
