This morning at about 8AM, while my son and I were waiting for his school bus to arrive I was pleasantly surprised when a Northern Shrike landed in the maple tree over my driveway. It sat there for about a minute or so, then it flew East, through the back yards of my neighbours. I live at 326 Texas Road, Amherstburg. Directions: Go south on County Road 20, turn left (East) on Texas Road. I'm probably about 1km up. Cheers!
