Hi Ont birders; Three White American Pelicans were observed this morning at
around 9:00 AM at Baie Du Dore. Two birds standing on the rocks with many
Cormorants and one paddling in the bay. The birds where originally found by
Dave, Jean + Gayle Schaus of Walkerton at 6:30 PM yesterday. The Schaus's
had no intention of having a big day but when all was tallied up they had
103 species yesterday. Many of these birds were seen at the Kincardine
Lagoon Site. Tanagers,Orioles, Buntings, Grosbeaks and Warblers were busy in
all stories of the forest from ground to canopy.
Cheers James Turland
