A number of us have watched a feeding dowitcher this Thursday, May 11,
morning. We need someone to decide which species it is.Hopefully it
will hang around.

It is in the northwest corner of the big Sobey's pond, north of
Victoria St. west of the Iroquois Sports Centre. Exit the 401 onto
Brock St./Whitby, south to Victoria, west through Henry.

Some of the birds in Thickson Woods--northern parula, common
yellowthroat, wood thrush, 2 scarlet tanagers, r-t hummingbird,
black-throated blue warbler, rose-breasted grosbeak, ovenbird,
Nashville warbler, and a possible orange-crowned warbler.
