Hi Ontbirders:

The White-faced Ibis was busily feeding near the small island in front of the
fallen over tree. After watching it for about 45 minutes, the ibis took to the
air circling around for awhile going higher and higher just like a hawk on a
thermal until it finally was too high to see. It was headed in a
south-southeast direction. True to habit as reported over the past few days,
this happened right around 6pm (7pm in one report). Based on the reports,
mornings into afternoon seem best for seeing this bird.
