Hi all,

The ibis was at the Richmond Drive Wetlands all this morning. Other birds
included:


Least Bittern (2)
Black-crowned Night-Heron (6)
Green Heron (4)
Virginia Rail (5)
Common Moorhen (7)
Willow Flycatcher (singing male),
and many others...

DIRECTIONS:

See below for directions if coming from HWY 401.
 
>From Highway 417 take exit 58 (between the Casselman and St-Isidore exits)
and turn south on Highway 138.  At the lights in St-Andrews turn right (SW)
on HWY 18 and not too far down the road keep left to merge onto HWY 36.
Continue SW along HWY 36 past the HWY 401 overpass. Richmond Drive is the
first road on your left.  Turn left onto Richmond Drive and head SE to
just past the active railway tracks.

 

See below, link to map of Richmond Drive wetlands:  Park at ''A ''or north
of the
tracks if no room.  Follow the abandoned tracks to ''B'' to observe the
Glossy Ibis and the Least Bitterns (seen on West side):

For those of you coming from HWY 401, increase area size (decrease zoom) of
above map on Google, and find exit 789 if coming from the east and exit 786
if coming from the west.
