guess I should jump into the fray.
On Friday, I witness around 10 White winged crossbills that were flying on
the road that separated Thickson Woods from the meadow area. They were
feeding off of the coniferous trees, kept relatively well hidden, lingered
for 3 or 4 minutes and then left. I managed to get a few quick pictures
before they left.
