At 0930h this morning a flock of 15 Purple Sandpiper was hanging out at Gull
Island at Prequ'ile Provincial Park. Other goodies include Snowy Owl and
Iceland Gull.
To reach Presq'uile, take the exit off the 401 to Brighton. Head south into
town and follow the signs to the park. Gull Island is off Owen Point Trail by
the Park Store.
Note that waterfowl hunting restricts access to this area on Monday, Wednesday,
Friday, and Saturday.
