Around noon today, I had a female-type Hoary Redpoll with a flock of around
30 Common Redpolls near Houghton Centre. Specifically, the flock was
feeding in alders along the west side of Concession 4, just north of Lower
Sideroad (northeast of Houghton Centre). This is just to the west of Long
Point. Lower Sideroad is the first road north of Lakeshore Rd.

The flock had moved on by the time I left, but could well be in the area
still, as there was plenty of food around. There was also a Yellow-rumped
Warbler here, making for an unusual species combination.

Good Birding,
