In blustery, snowy conditions, Marjorie Prieksaitis and I enjoyed some excellent views of the female Mountain Bluebird this morning between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m. It is still associating with a female Eastern Bluebird. The birds were actively flying about resting occasionally on corn stubble and in the shrubs along the fence line between the road and the corn field.
