Don Barnett, Tim McCarthy and I spent 11 hours & 30 minutes today
starting at 5:30 am
and had no Whimbrels. Other migrant shorebirds consisted of one Black-
bellied Plover. In we had 11 Common
Loons. The watch continues until 30 May. The big movements usually
occur from 23-25 May.
Location: The park is located at the end of Kipling and south of
Lakeshore Boulevard. The parking lot is located at the end of Colonel
Samuel Smith Park Drive. If that parking lot is full, free parking is
allowed on 13th street which runs along the east side of the park.
