Wow! Thousands of Ring-billeds, hundreds of Herrings, about 100 Bonaparte's. I couldn't find anything of interest but the sheer number of birds is worth reporting. When I was at Pelee Island in mid July I was also astounded by the number of gulls roosting on Fish Point.
Still looking for Laughing, which has been Laughing at me this year! Directions: Port Stanley is located on Lake Erie south of St. Thomas in southwestern Ontario. The west side of the Harbour has a beach full of gulls. The break walls are best viewed from the eastern Harbour. Best viewing times are early morning and evening. Cheers.
