Ontbirders. Sarah and I are currently viewing a Black-headed Gull at the mouth of Rondeau Bay. It is with other terns and bonies on the mud in the St. Clair Wildlife Sanctuary.
Access is difficult as viewing is technically not allowed... no path out to shore that isn't private. I suggest parking across the street in one of the small roads and walking across, skirting the boarder line of the private property/refuge. No one is home at the residence or else I would ask permission. If I can find another suitable spot to view from I will post. Bird is posing well and preening now though. Cheers. Directions: across from Fifth Ave. and Wildwood Line. Before you enter the park, on the west side... Rondeau Bay!
