I observed a Northern Shrike for 30 minutes near 338 Point Petrie Road (aka
County Road 24) in Prince Edward County at 1 pm today.
It was quite active, making forays from power lines and tree tops above a
farmers field.
>From Picton, drive southwest on County Road 10 to the hamlet of Cherry Valley,
>then follow the signs to Point Petrie.
Point Petrie is at the southwest corner of Prince Edward County.
Not to be confused with the more popularly known Prince Edward Point, which
located in the southeast corner of Prince Edward County.
