A heavily barred snowy owl was perched on top of a tall wooden hydro pole on
the south side of Rushmore Road today (Monday), observed at 3:45 p.m.
Directions: In Ottawa's west end, exit hwy 416 at Fallowfield Rd. Proceed 2.5
km west on Fallowfield to Richmond Road. Turn left on Richmond Rd and travel
2.2 km south to Rushmore Rd on the right (you'll pass the eastward part of
Rushmore about 100m earlier). The line of hydro poles crosses Rushmore about
half way betwen Richmond Rd and Eagleson Rd.
