Hi all.

Marilynn Murphy and I spent the day birding the Holland Marsh and the west
end of Ravenshoe Road in Keswick: 2 Snowy Owls (one in the field SW of the
intersection of Aileen and Strawberry; one on an Osprey nest at the very
north end of Bathurst, beyond the Queensville Sideroad); a handful
ofairborne Horned Larks at Jane and Woodchoppers; 200+
Common Redpolls at the west end of Bernhardt Road; 2 Northern Shrike,
1 atthe west
end of Ravenshoe Road, 1 just south of Ravenshoe on the Yonge Street
extension). Other usual feeder birds, etc. A very good day, with thanks to
Ron Fleming for detailed guidance, plus some confirming input from Wayne Ki
ng.

Good birding,

Skip
