Hello Ontbirds people,

Bev McBride has posted re: the continued presence of the male Yellow-headed
Blackbird in Kanata. Please refer to her information and directions - Thanks
Bev! The bird was there until at least 10:30 AM. No reason to believe it has
left the area yet.

The male Eurasian Wigeon discovered yesterday was also still present today,
seen by m. obs. at approx. 11:00 AM. Total of 11 species of waterfowl in this
location, a flooded area on the south side of Lockhead Rd. East, between North
Gower and Kars.

DIRECTIONS for the wigeon:

>From Ottawa, take Hwy 416 south to exit 49 (Roger Stevens Dr.) Go east on
>Roger Stevens to Second Line Road South. Take Second Line to the end, then
>left on Lockhead Road East. Look for the flooded area near the woods on the
>south side of Lockhead.

Good Birding,
Chris Lewis
