Hi birders,

My Dad and I birded the Pelee area today, with some good birds. Highlights
below:

Cattle Egret - we found the same bird seen earlier in the week at
Lighthouse Cove, perched along the Thames River (
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S20201890)

Hudsonian Godwit - continuing bird at the cannery ponds, north of Comber
Long-billed Dowitcher - 1 bird with the Godwit, among 10 shorebird species
present (http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S20201942)

We did a hawk watch along the lake from 12:30-3pm, about a kilometre SW of
Seacliff and had a good flight, with the following seen (
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S20202105):
Turkey vulture 2410
Osprey 1
Sharp-shinned Hawk 13
Cooper's Hawk 3
Bald Eagle 1
Red-shouldered Hawk 1
Broad-winged Hawk 10
Red-tailed Hawk 38
A. Kestrel 1

Please email me privately for directions, or check the ebird checklists for
the exact locations.

Happy thanksgiving!
