Seen this morning around 9-9:30 snuggled in the tree with all the feeders underneath it. It is well camouflaged so scan the tree carefully. The directions posted by Kelli about accessing off Jadestone are the best unless you want to trudge for a long distance through deep snow. When you come out onto the main trail from between the houses the backyard is across to the right up the hill with all the evergreen trees. It is about 30 meters off the main trail. See Kelli's directions below. You will see where others have walked. Directions: I found it was easiest to enter the Idlewood Greenway from Jadestone Court. Exit highway 401 at highway 8 (exit 278) towards Kitchener/Waterloo. After 7 km, merge right with highway 85 north (/highway 7 east). Stay right and take the next exit, Ottawa Street. From the off-ramp, turn right (east) onto Ottawa Street. Travel a couple km, then turn right at Oldfield Drive. Turn right onto Jadestone Court, and access the greenway after curling around the first corner of the court. The yard and feeders are due south of this access, about 30 m off the main trail, where you can see lots of footprints in the snow. ellen & jerry horakwww.thesustainabilityadventure.blogspot.com
