Greetings Ontbirders Doug McRae found an adult male Piping Plover at beach 1 today at roughly 6:45am. The bird moved between beach 1 and 2 until a walker put the bird up. We were able to determine the band combo as upper left metal and lower left yellow over orange, the right leg had upper leg orange band lower right yellow band.
Bill Gilmour To reach Presqu'ile Provincial Park, follow the signs from Brighton. Locations within the Park are shown on a map at the back of a tabloid that is available at the Park gate. Access to the offshore islands is restricted at this time of year to prevent disturbance to the colonial nesting birds there.
