I birded the lagoons this afternoon with Michel Gauthier.
1000+ C Geese - could not find any Cacklers 2 dozen Mallards 1 Black Duck 3 dozen Green-winged Teal 2 Bufflehead 2 Lesser Scaup 1 Pintail 1 A. Widgeon 2 Dunlin 1 Lesser Yellowlegs Lagoons can be reached by going west on 417 until March rd exit then west to Almonte. Thru the town on March Rd to Cty Rd 29. Cross 29 and continue on Wolf Grove Rd to Ramsay 8 and turn right. A few 100 meters on the right is a signed entrance to the MVFN trail to the Potvin tower.
