Sorry about this late post. Today Sunday Jan 1, I saw 2 Pine Warblers,
a male and a female at Duffern Islands just south of the falls off River
Road near the entrance. I also had time to check out the Sandhill Cranes
David Suggs reported about in vol 154 no.6 ,the birds have moved to a
corn field on Crowland Ave between Ridge Rd and Yokom Rd near Welland.
The Cranes were on the west side of Crowland Ave , all 11 birds David
talked about were in the same field in small groups. Photos can be seen
