The 2016/17 Ontario Bird Records Committee would like to take this time to thank the observers and volunteers who have submitted records over the past year and beyond -- without your support the OBRC would not function. This years Committee is currently reviewing records submitted over the last year that will be summarized in the August issue of Ontario Birds. We anticipate there will be 180-200 records to review (about average), including two potential new species (Common Ringed-Plover and Grace's Warbler).
This email update is to provide a deadline for submitting records for inclusion in the 2017 annual summary in OFOs *Ontario Birds* for *January 21st*. Records submitted after January 21st will be forward to the 2017-18 OBRC. Submissions can be entered through the OBRCs online submission form: http://ofo.ca/site/Obrcreport *or* via email to the OBRC Secretary ( [email protected]).
