Yesterday at 1:30 pm, David and I saw a Mature Bald Eagle north of Lock 23
on the west shore line eating a carp. Then further down River Road just past
Lock 25, we spotted a flock of golden eye ducks landing near the west shore
of the river with an Immature Bald Eagle trying to get one. Very exciting
to see these big birds at this time of year. Also, spotted a Blue Jay north
of lock 26 in a cedar tree on the east side of River Road.
