Avocet still in cell 2 as of 11 a.m.

The Avocet was swimming and feeding with the ducks at the north end of cell 2
when I arrived. Lots of loud banging from construction at the gas plant seemed
to be making the bird a bit nervous and it flew back to the south beach. It had
moved back near the north-east corner of cell 2 when I left at 11 a.m. Note
that you would not be able to see the bird from the viewing stand at Kerr Park
if it is at the north end.

Also some new arrivals:
Ruddy Ducks in cell 2 (female and interesting leucistic male)
Pied-billed Grebes - four in cell 1 and one in cell 2
Dunlin in cell 1 at west side towards north end

Mostly cloudy, strong cold south wind...dress for winter.

Could be seen from viewing stand at Kerr Park with scope, or near middle

Sewage Truck access only...please don't drive through and don't park too close
to the gate as some of the trucks need to make a wide turn.
