At about 2:00 pm , there was, in addition to the cowbirds, goldfinches, 
juncos,etc., a single, common redpoll coming to one of my feeders today.  It 
was a “close-up lifer” for me.  I’ve seen them in the past up north as flocks 
flying overhead or perched high in trees.
Coordinates for my location are 42.045,-82.743
