Ms Bonier ,
I'm having trouble with your urban habitat definition. Is there a distance
from housing development that qualifies? Stormwater ponds ,in or out?
I have done some yearly checks on a small meadow with a creek running
through it that is 150 to200ft from back yards and as well bordered by a
paved hiking path .Flood plains with paths,in or out.
I have considered your question myself. Likely has to do with species
ability to cope with human activity,while accepting less suitable habitat
and food supply
