We're persistent, in part, because the underlying mathematics and semantics is pretty clearly on our side. The main problems, usually, are figuring out how we are talking past the other person and then teasing out the assumptions that will clarify why we hold our respective views. Example: in the Java discussion I wasn't considering reflection, and after that it was clear why we were having disjoint conversations. >From what I've seen, Sandro has been trying to help you see the o-cap perspective. He's been constructive and polite throughout. He just doesn't agree with you. Taking that personally won't help. shap
