Crap. You and Sandro are coming from very different perspectives, and you
are clearly having some trouble getting some things across to each other.
That's okay. People who are trying to explain the o-cap perspective run
into this all the time. It's a different mindset, and we're used to this
kind of confusion. We're persistent, in part, because the underlying
mathematics and semantics is pretty clearly on our side. The main problems,
usually, are figuring out how we are talking past the other person and then
teasing out the assumptions that will clarify why we hold our respective
views. Example: in the Java discussion I wasn't considering reflection, and
after that it was clear why we were having disjoint conversations.

perspective. He's been constructive and polite throughout. He just doesn't
agree with you.

Taking that personally won't help.
