Sympatico has pretty restrictive terms of service that I couldn't live by (server equipment) plus they put all kinds of functional restricitions on the pipe. I want a pipe and just the pipe - I don't want them "adding value" by restricting how I send outbound mail, etc.
I have been very happy for 6 yrs with Sentex.ca but lately they have been bouncing my IP _very_ often and they want too much for a fixed IP setup charge and too much for the monthly. I have used Execulink.ca very successfully on a couple of small business installs and there service is very good/stable. They didn't charge me setup fee on fixed IP and only 15/mth for it ongoing. Both companies are the same price as Sympatico but you can own your own modem so there is no equipment rental. dbc. -- David Cook Quoting Dave Bour <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Anyone is better than Sympatico. :( > > That said, i'm happy with and can recommend MyCyberNet > > Dave Bour > Desktop Solution Center > 905.381.0077 > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > For those who just want it to work... > Giving you complete IT peace of mind. > > (Sent via Blackberry - hence message may be shorter than my usual > verbose responses) > PIN 4cc364db (as of March 24, 2007) > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: biz <[email protected]> > Sent: Wed Jul 18 11:10:01 2007 > Subject: Re: [biz] Internet in Mississauga > > I would look at TekSavvy, http://teksavvy.com/ > I have been using the for months now, 100% better support that > Sympatico. > --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
