How about using an existing escrow service on the 'net already, and just having OpenSRS manage the technical sides, as George suggested in the first email. That would save OpenSRS from the escrow hassles, but OpenSRS can confirm that the username/password has been changed to the new contact. I'd suggest OpenSRS simply scramble the username/password and email it to the new contact alone. The new contact would be required to update contact information and change the username/password within a week's time to confirm the transaction is complete. -- The nice thing about standards, there is enough for everyone to have their own.
