We can definitely relate to the sheep slobbering and shaking while eating. A couple years ago we changed feed stores and the brand of sheep cubes which we feed our sheep here in Texas. (These cubes were much cheaper!) We had them jumping, slobbering, foaming, shaking and several even passed out. We discovered the 1/2" sheep cubes were too soft; they pigged out and got choked. We had to even revive a couple. Needless to say we changed feed stores and brands of sheep cubes and haven't had that trouble again. Also at the time we noticed there was not problem with them eating grass.

Subject: [Blackbelly] Blackbellies - Sheep slobbering and shaking
while eating?
Hello, some of my sheep slobber/drool, shake their heads, and jump
sometimes when they are eating sheep feed. Not all of my sheep do this.
Does anyone know why this behavior is occurring? Is this the symptom of a
problem? I do not notice it when they are eating grass.

Thanks, Carr
